    Intro

I have to say after being an Entrepreneur and Business coach since 2004, I've seen it all.
Something I've been anxious to speak about for some time is the subject of this blog post.
Why so many people spend so much valuable time spinning their wheels.
Here's what I mean, be careful as you read this you may recognize a behavior you do not like:

    • You keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, this is called insanity
    • You understand the importance of education but for some reason you continue to skip it hoping you'll figure out ..
  • Wow, I really laid it out here...

I think every year of your life should be better than the year before and I've learned that it takes a mixture of hard work, action, vision and prayer!

Here are FIVE ACTIONS you can take to make 2012 your best year!

ACTION 1: Mastermind with like-minded people and commit to growing each other. We are now planning to meet at least once per quarter to keep the synergy going. I also mastermind with ..

  • My car flipped over...

    Intro

It's interesting how quickly your life can change. I was on my way from a wonderful business meeting and heading to the grocery store to stock up for the week, as I exited the interstate onto a mini-interstate I was hit... just imagine watching a movie and seeing a car flip over, well I was not in a movie but my car flipped and within minutes I found myself upside down and mildly alert. I noticed about six or so people looking at me, asking me if I was alright and suggesting I get out of my car. I could not ..

Not sure how to answer my question?

I have a great example for you - Steve Jobs

I still cannot believe we have lost such a powerful person that Revolutionized technology. In his memory, I'd like to share life enhancing lessons that Steve Jobs left us with...

    • Be willing to go right when everybody else goes left; It's easy to follow the crowd and do what everybody else does, Steve Jobs taught us to think differently and changed the world.
    • Risk can pay off big; Steve Jobs risked a lot to change the way we use technology. He could have ..
  • 9/11 should cause us to ReFlect & ReCommit

    Written by Marquesa / on 09/12/2011 / 0 Comments

I watched, I cried and I remembered...this weekend was so emotional for me and for so many of my fellow Americans like you. I spent all but three hours watching back to back coverage of 9/11. I watched coverage that I'd never seen like the personal experiences of our then mayor, Rudy Giuliani and then President George Bush.

I imagined being at work, sitting at my desk and out of nowhere a plane enters the building killing my co-workers and injuring me. My next step is to get up and get out but I notice fire is everywhere, I know I ..

I have to admit a guilty pleasure of mine...reality TV, yes I said it, but I actually learn as I watch and you can too. Let me prove it to you! If you recall in my last ezine I shared Lesson 1, now it's time for Lesson 2.

Have you watched the reality show called "The Shark Tank"?  It really lives up to its name. On one episode, I yelled at the TV so much I almost lost my voice. The candidate, a small business owner, pitched a need for an investment for equity in his company. ..

On the successful reality show franchise Real Housewives, you will see a little bit of everything. I paid no attention to the show until about a year ago, when I came across the Real Housewives of New York City. Since I live here I was curious. I was surprised to see all types of characters, even non-housewives like Bethenny Frankel. Unless you've been living under a rock her Reinvention story is the talk of the town. I'll give you the short version. Bethenny started on the show in 2007 as a typical NYC woman, ambitious and wanting ..

  • [Reinventing You] Need a Change, not sure how to start?

    Written by Marquesa / on 06/09/2011 / 0 Comments

    Intro

1- Do you need a "Change"? Assess your level of satisfaction in the area of your life you desire change? On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) is your score is on the lower end? Yes, commit to making a change now. Keep in mind, you may not have a choice with all the "change" that will happen in your life.

2- Face the FEAR! I know change can be scary, in many cases it's caused by not knowing what's next or what to expect. At times, this emotion will "paralyze" you and ultimately sabotage the success of the ..

Here are a few steps to get you started...

    1. Have a Brain Dump: I tell my clients all the time...begin with getting everything out of your head onto paper. But, do it in an unorganized manner. Pull out a bunch of post it notes and just write. Then take the post it notes and add them to a flip chart page in an organized way. The post it notes allow you to change, edit on the fly and get the thoughts ..
