[Reinventing You] Need a Change, not sure how to start?

Intro

1- Do you need a "Change"? Assess your level of satisfaction in the area of your life you desire change? On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) is your score is on the lower end? Yes, commit to making a change now. Keep in mind, you may not have a choice with all the "change" that will happen in your life.

2- Face the FEAR! I know change can be scary, in many cases it's caused by not knowing what's next or what to expect. At times, this emotion will "paralyze" you and ultimately sabotage the success of the change.

3- Prepare for change in your life, remember change will happen no matter what so it's best to be ready...many of us "freeze" or "reject" change which only makes things complicated. Prepare and accept, you never know, the journey just may be as enjoyable as the destination.

4- Get your mindset together and take an inventory of your beliefs about change.   My good friend and mastermind partner, James Jeffley, often says "change your mind and change your world." It's so true, if you tell yourself, over and over that the upcoming change is stupid and makes no sense.. Then you are causing the change to fail. How? It starts with your thoughts and ends with your actions.

5- See the benefits, "Clearly see the Why", as I work with my clients, I teach visioning, which means painting the picture of the positive result. This is a major incentive and reminds you daily of the results of your hard work! Melinda Emerson, the Small Biz Lady, hired me years ago to help her build her speaking business, I assigned her the task of creating a vision board of what's to come...part of this vision board included a book. I remember her saying this is cheesy...now, she tells anyone that will listen how this very exercise was a true defining moment in her business. Yes, she has that very successful book.
